A heartwarming story of how squash changes lives

Thank you for joining us for the digital premiere of A Bronx Tale, we were delighted with the response. If you missed it, or just want to watch it again, it's available to watch for free in full HD on the SquashSkills website.

Based in the Bronx, CitySquash is on a mission to democratise squash in the USA, levelling the playing field and creating opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to shine.

Through conversations with the children that the program is supporting as well as those who have then gone on to make a career in squash and with the man that has helped guide them, Bryan Patterson, A Bronx Tale shines a light on the transformative nature of sport, showcasing the immensely powerful and positive impact that squash has had on their lives.

We hope that you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it, and that in the challenging times that the world is facing right now, it helps add a spark of motivation and inspiration for you.

"A Bronx Tale is a film we didn't plan to make. Like all good things, it just ended up happening: the timings lined up, an opportunity presented itself and a great story about people and squash emerged. It's more than just talking about the sport we all love. The film shows how squash can inspire, not only through the dedication of the people like Bryan and Tim but how these kids from the Bronx motivate them and us in return.

The story was already there, all we had to do was tell it."
